Using Archival Materials
Just did a huge trip to Richmond, California to grab the digibeta tapes of archival materials and original materials used for "Fight in the Fields" from the filmmakers. Thanks Laurie C for taking us there, and spending the time to go through the storage facility.
Speaking of using archival materials, Niall sent me this link about how we've started to look at documentaries and use archival materials. It's a great wake-up call: http://blackoystercatcher.blogspot.com/2009/06/taking-history-back-from-storytellers.html
